Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Super Sassy ships The Book of Pop Out Earrings internationally to any non-sanctioned country via UPS and USPS.
Unfortunately, our Earring Club is currently only available to US-based customers.
What is your return policy?
Super Sassy offers an unconditional guarantee: If you don’t love your product for any reason, we want to know and we want to make it right. You can return your book for a full refund minus shipping costs. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or replacement of your product(s).
We can either send a prepaid shipping label for you to return your unopened package or you can send it by the carrier of your choice in your own packaging. Simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate your return/refund.
I have sensitive ears. Will your hardware work for me?
Most likely yes! Our hardware is well tolerated by people with sensitive ears.
Most people with sensitive ears are allergic to nickel. Our hooks are nickel-free and thus do not cause irritation to people with a nickel sensitivity.
All Super Sassy hardware is made of plated brass and conform to the strictest international safety standards for children's jewelry. Every batch is tested for nickel release, lead and heavy metals like cadmium.
We do not advertise our product as "hypoallergenic" because a very small percentage of people with metal sensitivities are actually allergic to another metal entirely, like copper, which is present in our brass alloy.
What happened to the clip ons?
We are super bummed that we had to remove clip ons from this edition of the book. We've had challenges with our supplier and were forced to choose between offering the book at all or the book without clip ons. We will be adding clip ons to the store as soon as possible and re-incorporating them into new book products in the future.
I ordered this as a gift. Can I include a gift note or gift receipt?
It's an awesome gift. We're just getting started and haven't worked out gift cards or gift receipts yet. But here’s the good news:
While the packaging is our very own design (And says Super Sassy right on the front!), we don’t include packing slips or receipts in our shipments as a rule. So you are free to gift both books and Earring Club subscriptions without revealing yourself or how much you spent!
Do you use recycled paper?
All of our paper and packaging is FSC-certfied, which is made from a blend of recycled and sustainably managed forests. This is the gold-standard for environmentally friendly paper products.
Are the earrings printed on both sides?
I lost an earring. Can I order a replacement?
We’re sorry, but we currently do not have the ability to replace individual earrings.
My order arrived damaged. Can you help?
Absolutely. Please reach out to email@example.com with photos of the damage and we will take care of you.
I entered my address wrong. Can you fix it?
We will make every effort to fix incorrect addresses. Please send your correct address and order number to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you discover the mistake. Please understand that we cannot update your order if it has already left our warehouse.
The good news is that minor typos in your address are often solved by the postal worker that delivers your mail. More significant mistakes, like sending the package to your old apartment, will typically result in a gift to a stranger.
How can I get extra earring hooks?
Huge bummer here, we don’t currently have extra hooks to sell because of some manufacturing problems. We should have them available by the end of 2021 for sale. Secret Pro Tip in the meantime: You get fresh hooks with every issue of the Earring Club! Just sign up and get new earrings AND new hooks in your mailbox every month!

How are Books shipped?
Super Sassy ships via USPS. We ship orders Monday through Friday from our warehouse in California. Most packages ship 1 business day after you order. We ship The Book of Pop Out Earrings via Media Mail, a USPS service specifically designed for books. Delivery is typically expected within 3 to 10 business days but may be slower because of COVID-19 disruptions.
You can upgrade to priority shipping which typically arrives in 3 to 4 days from your order date and is less impacted by disruptions. If your order is time sensitive, please choose USPS Priority Shipping.
When will I receive my Book?
Our standard shipping utilizes USPS Media Mail, which typically arrives in 1 to 2 weeks. But USPS does not guarantee a delivery date, and some customers are experiencing delays because of COVID-19. If you need your earrings by a certain date, we recommend checking out with Priority Mail.
I don't see international shipping when I check out. Help!
You are probably trying to check out with a product that includes a free month of the Earring Club membership. Edit the items in your cart to remove that option and you should see international shipping options.

First, check the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email or text. Maybe it's coming tomorrow!

How do I cancel my Book order?
Since we employ a third party warehouse, once an order is placed we rarely have a chance to cancel an order before they ship it out. You are always welcome to initiate a return however. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get started.
Can I buy multiple memberships?
Yes! If you'd like to add additional copies to your membership, please reach out to email@example.com.
How will I know that my Earring Club was shipped?
We'll send you an email when we ship your Earring Club every month! We ship during the last week of the month, so you can expect your Earring Club to arrive within the first two weeks of every month.
Do I get a tracking number for my Earring Club?
Unfortunately not. Earring Club subscriptions are shipped by USPS First Class Mail, which does not offer tracking but does help keep our Earring Club affordable. We currently do not offer tracked shipping on our Earring Club Subscription.
When will I receive my Earring Club?
We ship out Earring Club in the last week of each month via USPS First Class Mail (like an old fashioned letter!), and they typically arrive the first two weeks of the following month. For example, we ship February’s Earring Club the last week of January so it arrives in the first two weeks of February!
It's been a long time. Where is my Earring Club?
Truth is, between our warehouse and your house, we’re not entirely certain where it is. Sometimes things get caught up in the mail and take longer than we’re used to or even expecting them to take. If it’s after the 20th of the month and you are still without your Earring Club, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and as long as you reach out before the 24th of the month, we will get a replacement sent to you with the next month’s shipment!
How does billing work?
If you sign up before the 23rd of the month you will pay for your first month during sign up and checkout. You will be billed on the 21st of every month for as long as you maintain a membership.
How do I cancel my Earring Club membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing email@example.com. If you cancel before the 21st of the month you will not be charged for the upcoming installment. Any cancelation requests made on or after the 21st will apply to the following month.
I moved and I need to update my address!
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll fix that for you! Just let us know if it’s your shipping or billing address, or even both! Just be sure you do this before the 20th of the month so you don’t get a delay in your Earring Club!
I changed my mind and want to cancel a prepaid subscription.
I’m super sorry to hear that! However, due to the automated nature of subscriptions, we only have a 24 hour window or until your order ships, whichever comes first to cancel a prepaid subscription.

What can I expect in terms of communication?
We send out a confirmation email when you join our Earring Club. After that an email is sent once your subscription has shipped, and then a collection recap telling you about the artists and causes involved in each installment of our Earring Club!
We also reach out for all those annoying things like if we have a payment issue or we find out that opening your Earring Club package accidentally opens a portal to an alternate dimension.
